about

Sarah is a creative who designs, produces, directs & styles unique sets & spaces for commercial businesses with an established portfolio; collaborating frequently with production companies & media clientele.

She creates sets & spaces that visually support a clients brand, message & brief - in a really ridiculously good looking way.

Sarah is also the founder & lead designer of her business SET SPACE Creative which produces custom made sets &

creative interiors.

Early on in her career, Sarah developed her skills by immersing herself within various creative industries she was passionate about.

She has worked within Visual Merchandising, Fashion, Publishing, Events, Exhibitions, TV, Film & Advertising industries - all with visual storytelling as her motivation & employed objective.

Within these roles Sarah was able to demonstrate her innate creative talents & expansive imagination whilst over time refining the industry & role she was most suited to. She has now been designing, styling & art directing sets professionally for 15 years.

Sarah has gained her experience through practice, ambition & A LOT of hard work.

Intrinsically motivated, Sarah’s dedication to each project is second to none & ensures the final outcome is delivered to her own high expectations - whilst aiming to exceed her clients.

She has worked directly with some of Australia’s most reputable brands & often for repetitive business over multiple years.

In addition to running her own business, in 2022 she collaborated with CINESPACE in their Training Grounds program where fifteen First Nations, CALD and POC creatives & crew trained under industry mentors gaining skills to work on production sets & their first screen credit by producing a web series. Sarah was proud to be the mentor for Art & Wardrobe.

In her own words   “I  CREATE.  It’s my motivation, my focus, my ambition. To step back & view a visually engaging scene / mini world I’ve created brings me immense satisfaction”.

Sarah lives in Melbourne with a presumptuous Persian cat & finds constant inspiration through travelling, scouring vintage stores & junk yards, visiting art galleries, the theatre & feasting on films.

"My goal is to create distinctive, memorable & visually engaging results; that communicate my clients brand, inspire my clients audience & exceed my clients expectations – as well as my own."
